The Palmerston Tavern - "Enjoy the Experience"
THE newest and one of the most spacious beer gardens in the Top End has opened in Palmerston
Situated right at the entrance to the Palmerston Shopping Centre, the recently re-developed and re-furbished Palmerston Tavern now offers the people of Palmerston and surrounds a truly modern Hotel with a friendly atmosphere, where families and friends can come together and enjoy delicious meals, cold beer and fast friendly service from our dedicated and well trained staff.

Palmerston Tavern has finished a $750,000 plus makeover of its public bar for the newly opened beer garden now called the Palm Bar.
Gone is the dark back bar and in its place is a new open deck area featuring high ventilated ceilings, a water fountain and a cool and relaxing outdoor area for all the family to enjoy.
Buddhas feature inside and outside the bar area adding serenity for enjoying a cool ale or a glass of wine selected from the extensive list.
Jarrah floors, ceiling-high glass windows and new seating, including arm chairs and couches, bring a light and inviting lounge look to the refurbished bar.
A number of wide screen televisions have been installed around the deck area and inside carrying all different sporting events for patrons’ viewing pleasure and enhancing the new TAB facilities.
In the evening the Palm Bar kicks off with happy hours at 4pm from Monday through to Friday and now has later opening hours.
Coffees, cakes and a new tapas menu are now available for extended dining options. The great value $7.50 Monday – Saturday lunch specials so popular in the Bistro are also available in the Palm Bar. Or, choose from the extensive a la carte menu available lunch and dinner everyday.

Most of the Bistro’s well-known dinner specials like Monday Curry Night and Thursday Steak Night can now be enjoyed al fresco style in the Palm Bar.
Palmerston Tavern Manager Sam Morrison said that "while The Palmerston Tavern has undergone extensive renovations we haven't changed our familiar friendly service".
Come in and relax on the deck or prop on a stool in the TAB as this is now a public facility for all the community in its true sense and everyone is encouraged to see the transformation.
The Palm Bar
Opening at 10.00am every day the Palmerston Palm Bar offers patrons a relaxed air conditioned Bar to share a drink with friends or make some new ones.
Watch all the sport from all over the world on the big screens. Back a winner on the TAB or try your luck on the KENO.
Enjoy a meal or even shoot some pool or just cool
off in the Shaded Beer Garden. Meals are served in the Bar from 11.30pm
– 2.00pm & 6.00pm – 9.00pm. Tuesdays 5.30pm - 9.00pm.
Drop in for Happy Hours Mon – Wed at 4pm
